If you’ve never heard of them or checked out their line before, you should definitely head over to Daisy Rock Guitars.  They offer some of the most hip and cool girls’ guitars out there - whether you like glitter or something a little retro, they have it.

Daisy Rock Guitars will surely inspire the punk rocker or country singing soul inside of you - whether you’re 13 or going on 80.  In fact, the guitars alone are enough to make me want to start up a band!

Check out the Daisy Rock website for more information and to see the entire line of guitars (electrics, acoustics, and basses!), as well as their featured artists and contests!  And then, go ahead and add them to your Christmas list … hey, we’re just saying what you were already thinking!

Ages 0-6 Months:

Heelarious Crib Shoes - Check out these hilarious soft crib shoes (not meant for walkers, only for laughs!) that will make any holiday a bit cheerier…

By far, our favorite teether EVER. It’s made out of wood and is made from lead free, chew-safe paint (non-toxic).

Aden + anais’ swaddling blankets are the perfect gift… (we also LOVE their Dream Blankets)

Ages 6-12 Months:

Check out this cart and seat, all in one! Great for pushing dolls and toys around, or other kids! Push a bit, ride a bit.

Help make leisurely walks a bit more fun with these little trikes that come with a detachable “handle” for parents to help tots along (or steer them out of harms way).

And…this cloth “farm tails” book

1-3 Years:

Braincandy DVDs captivate even the smallest of audiences - I love the age-appropriate illustrations and learning and my daughter loves the music and dancing, it’s a win win for us both!

These silicone letter/number molds are great for making anything from ice to foods to crayons! And, because they’re made of silicone (so you can freeze or bake with them), it’s only limited by your imagination!

This fabric set from Good For the Kids is not only great for keeping your little one intrigued (and, you won’t hear these little guys bouncing down the aisles when they choose to throw them across the room, because you know they will…right at the most inopportune “quiet” moment), but it’s also great to aid in storytelling (of the 3 Little Pigs, of course).

4-6 Years:

A little pricey, but these are some of the most awesome kid-sized play oven/sink/washers that I’ve ever seen. (click on photos, they’re all linked).

Another kitchen set that we adore.

Daisy’s Fruit Stand…and yes, it comes fully stocked!

7+ Years:

DaisyRock Guitars is a new line of the most kick-butt guitars made especially for girls! Whether your girl likes to kick out acoustic or electric tunes, she’ll be pleased with this line.

Discovery Flip Phone Walkie Talkies - I’m even having a hard time resisting these…

A four-lensed camera can only mean what? Answer: Some really interesting photographs. You’ll be surprised every time…

This is a guest post by Nicole from Red Lotus Mama.  She’s a mom (to one of the cutest little girls ever) and a great writer and friend.  Please be sure to check out her blog (the link above) when you’re done reading here, you won’t want to miss out!

Growing up I think we have all said at one point in time “I am not going to turn out like my mother.”  But, we discover we are just like our moms’ once we become mothers ourselves.  I have caught myself saying things that my mother would say to me like “Don’t grow up so fast” or “Leave a little something on your plate for the angels” or “Don’t make me come over there.”  These sayings are passed down like a family heirloom you are destined to receive even if you don’t want it.

We have all been to baby showers where you play stupid silly games and sign a guest book letting the guest(s) of honor know you were there.  So why not combine these ideas to make a keepsake the mommy-to-be will be proud to display.  Have the shower guests sign their favorite “mom” saying on a wide photo matting.  Then present the picture frame with the matting and an enlarged photo of the ultra sound or empty so the mommy-to-be can put her own picture in it.  Everyone needs a great frame, but now she has quick access to a perfect mom quote when needed!

Too often, it seems like fathers get left by the wayside when it comes to pregnancy.  Granted, they don’t actually have to endure pregnancy in the ways we do, but we thought it was time to offer up some great gift ideas that dads are sure to love:

Daddy Needs A Drink by Robert Wilder is a hilarious book that chronicles Wilder’s experiences with being a father.  This book is sure to leave you in laughter with every page-turn.

Dad’s Pregnant Too by Harlan Cohen is a great pregnancy book for DADS.  It’s written with a humorous edge, while carefully explaining what it is we go through and what their baby looks like as well.  However, unlike conventional pregnancy books, this book won’t gross pops out and it also has some really helpful advice about being a husband/partner to a pregnant woman and what he can expect, as well as explaining some of the things HE may be feeling.

And, you can trust me when I recommend this book (I read it, too) - There will be no “Suck it up, woman” mentality absorbed from this book.  If he comes home with that attitude, he got it elsewhere…

As our daughter has grown, we’ve found that the typical baby bibs just weren’t holding up.  Most of them that WOULD fit, tended not to even catch the food that dropped from her mouth.

Crumb Chum is different than most bibs, though.  With it’s long, sleek (and lead free!) design, it keeps even the messiest toddlers clean.  We’ve also found that the Crumb Chum is excellent for our many crafts too!  No need to have a half naked toddler running around for the sake of keeping clothes clean!
